SYNOPSES:
An 8 year old Arab-American boy refuses to accept that his father was arrested by the FBI but rather believes that he was abducted by Aliens.

Nuri, an 8 year old Arab-American boy refuses to accept that his father was arrested by the FBI but rather believes that he was abducted by Aliens. After failing to convince his older brother and Dahlia, his distraught stepmother, he ventures out alone to rescue his father from the aliens while risking his own life in the process. When Dahlia discovers Nuri’s disappearance she begins a frantic race against time to find her son before its too late.

Filmmaker Jonathan Ingalls attempts to go behind the headlines of post-9/11 America, and present a story of the deep denial, yet unwavering optimism, held by an Arab-American boy whose father was detained by the government.

After September 11, 2001, there were many abductions and arrests of Arab-Americans and Muslim-Americans, many without sufficient evidence and even without cause.  This film however focuses on the children who were traumatized and whose lives have been affected as a result of racial profiling, arrests, and abductions of their family members.
